Your Role

IT manager’s job is crucial to ensuring that a company's technology systems are running smoothly and effectively to support IT operations and everyday business. This includes the company’s internal systems and applications as well as external party systems and applications. To ensure that the company has systems, business processes, and controls in place to meet operational and compliance requirements.

Your Responsibilities

  • Managing IT Operations: Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the IT department, including managing staff, setting priorities, and ensuring tasks are completed efficiently.

  • Infrastructure Management: Planning, implementing, and maintaining the organization's technology infrastructure, including networks, servers, hardware, and software systems. Ensure continuous improvement, availability, reliability and interoperability of the IT infrastructure

  • Security Management: Ensuring the security of the organization's data, networks, and systems through the implementation of KN coprporate security measures, policies, and procedures. This includes firewalls, antivirus software, access controls, and security audits.

  • Technical Support: Providing management and organisational support and troubleshooting assistance to other IT staff members, ensure normal Help Desk operations and provide consulatncy to customers who encounter IT issues. This may involve coordinating with support teams or external vendors for complex issues.

  • Project Management: Leading IT projects from planning to execution, including budgeting, resource allocation, and timeline management. Projects may include system upgrades, software implementations, or infrastructure expansions.

  • Ensure Continuous improvement, availability, reliability and interoperability of the IT infrastructure

  • Strategic Planning: Collaborating with regional management and corporate IT teams to align IT strategies with business goals and objectives. This may involve identifying opportunities for technology improvements, cost savings, or innovation within the organization.

  • Vendor Management: Working with external vendors and service providers to procure IT services, negotiate contracts, and ensure service level agreements are met and aligned with agreed budgets and procurement policies.

  • Data Management: Overseeing data storage, backup, and recovery processes to ensure data integrity and availability in case of emergencies or disasters.Team Leadership and Development: Mentoring and developing IT staff, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment, and staying updated on industry trends and best practices. Continuous improvement in the professional development and advancement of team members.

  • Compliance and Regulations: Ensuring that the organization complies with relevant IT regulations, company standards, and policies, such as data protection laws, industry-specific regulations, and internal IT policies.IT policy management: To implement corporate IT policies and processes as required by regional and global IT. To create and establish local IT policies as required and ensure they are in line with regional and global requirements.

  • IT asset Procurement Build and maintain contact with suppliers and manage/control the process of IT equipment procurement (both hardware and software).

  • Support Business in new projects, act as a consultant to management on all IT related matters. Research, recommend and implement improvements to existing IT systems to meet the needs of business. Drive and implement continuous improvement in knowledge and IT technology.

  • Act as a higher level of customer support and escalation of problems.

  • Business Continuity and Contingency Planning in collaboration with other business units and quality management.

Your Skills and Experiences

  • Universitydegree (Computer science or any related fields)

  • 5 yearsof work experience in IT (preferably in international company)

  • A high level of organization and communication

  • A high level of motivation and discipline

  • Leadership and motivational skills

  • Ability to guide and process optimization

  • Advanced use of computers and MS Office

  • Good knowledge of the code of operational processes and systems
