Your Role

As a Customer Service Representative, you will work in the warehouse intercepting, processing, and keying orders into our system. As the primary contact for our internal departments and external customers, you must have an outgoing, professional demeanor, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and a passion for quickly solving problems with satisfactory solutions. Your typical schedule will be Monday - Friday, 9:00 am – 5:30 pm. The pay rate is $17.00 per hour.

Your Responsibilities

  • Delivery cancellationsrequested by the customer

  • Compile, sort, and verifyaccuracy of data to be entered

  • Provide delivery packinglists, BOL and POD requests

  • Handle tracking numberrequests

  • Confer with various departments and carrier personnel to expedite or trace missing or delayed shipments; compile statistics and prepare various reports

  • Compile statistics andprepare reports for management

  • Provide status checks

  • Upgrade the shippingmethod of transportation

  • Provide back up supportfor all accounts other than primary

  • Other duties asassigned

Your Skills and Experiences

  • 2+ years of full-time customer service experience in a warehousing or distribution environment

  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel

  • Experience with Manhattan or any Warehouse Management System (WMS)

  • Strong ability to quantify results and create accurate reporting

  • English fluency (written and verbal)
