Kuehne+Nagel Sea Logistics Customer Care Specialist in Saint Paul, Minnesota

Your Role

Reporting to the Area Sea Logistics Customer Care Manager you will support external & internal Customers, by providing helpful information, solutions, answering questions and responding timely and effectively, to the Customer’s requests & concerns. They are the Customer advocate towards the US Operational Care Center and overseas Customer Care Locations to help ensure that Customers are satisfied with the Products & Services provided and their Customer Promise is fulfilled.

Your Responsibilities

  • You will proactive advice and consultancy, ensuring Customer satisfaction

  • Qualification and entry of Customer orders into Operational process

  • You will support Customer Development & Maintenance

  • You will maintain close cooperation with Branch & Area management as well as Sea Logistics operations (Operational Care Ceneter) for an enhanced customer experience

  • Avoid additional costs & expenses due to internal service failure

  • Qualification of Customer inquiries, provide KN quotations and updates, set final selling price with individual adjustments within the given price band and in-line with the national leeway in decision-making (front-line Empowerment)

  • Inclusion and transfer of customer requirements into Kuehne+Nagel systems (Business & Customer profile)

  • Establishing and building Customer relationships (Sales support)

Your Skills and Experiences

  • High School Degree / Diploma

  • 2+ years' Sea Logistics experience

  • 2+ years' Customer Service experience

  • You have the ability to work a hybrid schedule with 4 days in the office

  • You have the ability to travel for business
