Kuehne+Nagel Head of Contract Logistics Customer Development Asia Pacific in Singapore, Singapore
Optimizing supply chain operations, our contract logistics business unit provides end-to-end warehousing and distribution solutions for our customers. This position will be responsible for the roll out of sector strategy, support ambitious target setting as well as the creation and follow up of a plan to reach those targets. Your Role
Your will lead the growth of our contract logistics portfolio through developing existing customers and new business together with your team.
Your Responsibilities
To advise on both global + vertical business development strategies.
To develop + manage a sizeable pipeline of opportunities, actively converting each opportunity into a profitable business win.
To lead commercial negotiations + creation of high quality business proposals + tenders.
To ensure we have the best customer development people in every country through selecting the right candidates + evaluating their performance + facilitating their development.
To actively develop + maintain customer contacts along with a network of prospects.
To actively network + link with other colleagues at every level of the organization.
To capture + manage business + market intelligence, ensuring consistent communication to key stakeholders.
To drive + roll-out corporate initiatives + business development plans.
Your Skills and Experiences
Ideally, you should have strong experience in business development in Contract Logistics and extensive network in the multiple verticals such as consumer, pharmaceutical and technology.
You will need to show you can work business with multiple stakeholders + are able to build strong networks while creating diverse industry leading proposals. You are passionate about supporting and developing your team in terms of their skills and knowledge levels.
