Kuehne+Nagel Senior DevOps Engineer (m/f/d) in Tallinn, Estonia

Your Role

We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our team and make a difference in the global logistics industry! Our team handles 30+ global applications, which helps Integrated and Contact Logistics customers run their business. As a DevOps Engineer, you will be pivotal in driving and supporting all our applications towards the "Cloud first" approach in close collaboration with product and development teams.

Your Responsibilities

Hands-on technical work for implementing daily tasks requires sufficient knowledge of on-prem as well as cloud technologies. Out team handles support for on-prem applications as well as drives and migrates the application landscape toward a "Cloud first" approach.

  • "Right-hand guy" for development teams to help, consult, and coach in running and operating their products (You build it - You run it);

  • Desing, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate the software delivery process;

  • Focusing on cloud migration initiatives;

  • Taking part in managing staging and production environments;

  • Implementing centralized monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability and reliability of our systems;

  • Ensure security and compliance across all stages of the software development lifecycle.

Your Skills and Experiences

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a DevOps Engineer role (a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field would be a plus);

  • Experienced in automation/scripting with Python (Groovy or Bash are considered a plus);

  • Experience with Cloud technologies: AWS is a must, and Azure would be a plus (certifications would be a plus);

  • Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Terraform, Terragrunt, ArgoCD);

  • Ability to deploy, write, update manifest files, and understand persistent storage usage (OpenShift or Kubernetes);

  • Experience with monitoring, logging, and alerting systems (Grafana, Kibana, OpenSearch, Prometheus);

  • Experience with on-prem technologies (Ansible, VMWare, Linux, and Windows);

  • Strong team player, able to own and drive tasks independently.
