The Global Services Location EMEA, based in Belgrade, is serving the regions Western Europe, Middle East and Africa as an internal service provider, being responsible for the handling and execution of operational tasks within the organization. The GS EMEA’s satellite is based in Thessaloniki, Greece and was founded in 2016. We perform global and standardized processes, mainly back office tasks for the internal customers, we employ more than 300 employees and we are now seeking for our company in Thessaloniki, the below role.

Your Role

The main purpose of the position is to ensure and/or arrange Export and Import Aerospace & Defense shipments meets the customers expectation and follow Kuehne & Nagel’s stated compliance. The objective is to ensure Excellence in delivery for all operation task associated with Aerospace & Defense Logistics. Taking ownership and showing entrepreneurial spirit in daily activities. Understand and have full awareness of the Export/Import process within Air Logistics Aerospace & Defense.

Your Responsibilities

  • Responsible for Aerospace & Aviation Export/Import Kuehne+Nagel Global Services for our Business Partner (BP)

Supporting the Country Organzation's operational teams in daily (AOG) activities and in timely manner

  • Perform duties based on the approved Aviation & Aerospace Working Instruction and individual customer SOP

  • Monitor, communicate and update statuses of departed/arrived shipments.

  • Understand and translate BP/customer requirements & act based on BP/customer requirements

  • Ensure Data Quality Performance

  • Pro-active and solution oriented with timely escalation

  • Ensure task formalities for export-/ and import shipments and departure-/ and arrival alignment with customers expectation

  • Distribution and archiving of shipping documents

  • Pre-advice for outgoing and incoming shipment regardless of terms

  • Willing to work on a 24/7 shift model

  • Able to work under pressure

  • Understand the importance of each shipment

  • Customer Oriented and willing to go extra mile to meet the customer expectation

  • Willing to learn and adapt into fast changing situations and able to provide solution towards issues

  • Independent, self-motivated, creative, energetic and hard-working

  • Good analytical and communication skills

  • Good command of written and speak in English

  • Coaching and leadership
