Your Role

As an IT Team Lead, you act as a disciplinary manager for a small team of IT specialists. In this role, you will work in close contact with other product and team leads and act as a link in our product organization. You will also take over specific tasks of a (full-stack) software engineer. You design and implement the solution in direct cooperation with the business departments.

Your Responsibilities

  • Be part of the software development cycle and design, implement, and deliver the application in collaboration with customers, stakeholders, and users;

  • Provide guidance, support, and mentoriship to other team members, especially software developer;

  • Collaborate in setting up processes that ensure the technical quality of implemented solutions (for example, reviews of technical designs and infrastructure-as-code);

  • You will develop Java-based digital products and take responsibility for the quality and long-term maintainability of the developed software. You will also be responsible for test automation, performance optimization, and our atuomated build pipelines. "You build it, you own it." approach;

  • Create an inspiring team environment with an open communication culture;

  • Responsible for defining team members' tehcnical and personal development needs. Ensure onboarding and trainign of new team members.

Your Skills and Experiences

  • Extensive knowledge of recent Java Enterprise technologies: Java, Spring Boot, JPA/Hibernate, JUnit;

  • Solid experience with CI/CD tools such as IntelliJ, Git, Maven, Gradle, Docker, process tools such as Jira, and build pipelines (Jenkins);

  • Good knowledge of frontend technologies and tools (for example, Angular, Vue.js, React) would help our team but is not a must;

  • Experience with AWS (or GCP/Azure) is an advantage;

  • Proactivity and ability to perform duties without immediate supervision;

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, ability to communicate with all levels of the staff and stakeholders.
