Your Role
We are looking for a Software Engineer (m/f/d) to join our agile and international team. In this role, you will be developing our core platform SALOG who supports Air and Sea Forwarding all over the world. You will be joining a global team of engineers and analysts and build products to provide innovative solutions to delight your stakeholders. We want you to help take us to the next level!
Your Responsibilities
Be part of the full software development cycle and design, implement and deliver the application in collaboration with stakeholders, and users.
Writing clean code.
Quality assurance, for example with automated testing and code reviews.
Ensuring the quality and long-term maintainability of the software developed.
Ensuring that the software is up to date with the latest technologies.
Contributing to the continuous improvement of our processes and tools.
Your Skills and Experiences
Degreein Computer Science (or equivalent);
Severalyears of hands-on experience in Java stack and Frontend Technologies suchas Angular.
Experiencewith testing frameworks like JUnit, Jest, Serenity BDD.
Relationaland NoSQL databases.
Experiencewith build and automation tools like OpenShift, Docker, Gradle, Jenkins,Git;
Agilemindset, confidence in self-organisation and communication (andwillingness to do pair / mob programming);Fostera culture of feedback, have the courage to fail and a strong will toevolve personally as well as a team in a dynamic environment.
Fluentwritten and spoken English.
You are familiar with software development practices in Agileenvironment, where concepts like “Teamwork and open communication” and “Pairprogramming and knowledge sharing” simply feel natural to you.
